The short version
You can use the public map without an account and without giving us any personal information. If you create an account, we store your email address and the spots you choose to save. We never sell your information, and we never share it with anyone except the services that run the site.
What we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google or an email link, we receive and store your email address and, for Google sign-in, your basic profile (name and profile photo). We use this only to create and operate your account. Authentication is handled by Supabase.
Saved spots. Spots you save on the map (title, note, and map location) are stored with your account and are visible only to you.
Payments. CrownAccess Plus subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers. We store only your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference.
Usage analytics. We record anonymous product events — for example, which map layers are toggled and which guides are opened — to understand what is useful and improve the map. These events are tied to a random session identifier, not to your name or account.
Google user data
If you sign in with Google, we access only your email address and basic profile information, and we use it solely to create and sign you in to your CrownAccess account. We do not share Google user data with any third party, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it. CrownAccess's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Services we rely on
CrownAccess runs on a small number of infrastructure providers, each of which processes data only to provide their service: Supabase (accounts and database), Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting and web analytics), and Mapbox (map tiles).
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not show ads. We do not track your device location — the map moves only where you move it.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual saved spots at any time from your account panel. To delete your account and all data associated with it, email us and we will remove it promptly.
